Phillies | Tyler Cloyd not guaranteed to stick
Philadelphia Phillies SP Tyler Cloyd, who will take the rotation spot of SP Roy Halladay (shoulder) and start Friday, May 10, isn't guaranteed to stick around in the rotation for long, according to general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. SP John Lannan (knee) is weeks away from returning and could be an option to replace Cloyd. The Phillies will also consider arms outside the organization.
Fantasy Tip: Neither Cloyd nor Lannan are very intriguing options for fantasy baseball purposes, but they carry enough value with a rotation spot to be considered in NL-only leagues. Lannan obviously has more major league experience, so expect Philly to give him a spot when he's healthy, unless Cloyd has earned to stay in the role or the team acquires a pitcher from outside the organization.
