Diamondbacks | Adam Eaton has started to throw
Arizona Diamondbacks OF Adam Eaton (elbow) started to throw Friday, April 19, and he has been hitting since April 4, serving as the designated hitter in extended spring games. Eaton will throw from 60 feet Monday, April 22, according to general manager Kevin Towers.
Fantasy Tip: Eaton is about a couple of weeks from returning to the majors. He will go on a minor-league rehab assignment when he is ready to throw, playing for Triple-A Reno and serving as the DH initially. When he is able to return, he'll find a crowded outfield. He is still a good NL-only fantasy option when healthy, but mixed leaguers won't want to bother with him, at least at first.
