Red Sox | Joel Hanrahan's injury affected mechanics
Boston Red Sox RP Joel Hanrahan's (hamstring) sore right hamstring has been affecting his mechanics, according to manager John Farrell. "Yesterday, when we spoke about, 'Is this mechanical?' Clearly the right hamstring soreness is in the back of his mind and looking at some video again this morning, it looks like his right leg has collapsed a little bit in his delivery, it's caused him to work a little bit more uphill or a little bit more side to side, and not have that same effectiveness," Farrell said. RP Andrew Bailey will be the interim closer for as long as Hanrahan is sidelined.
Fantasy Tip: Hanrahan's spotty command was a side effect of his injury, which happened in the first week of the season, according to Farrell. It's unclear if he'll land on the disabled list, though, so Bailey should be owned in all formats.
