Yankees | Curtis Granderson removes brace
New York Yankees OF Curtis Granderson (forearm) removed his stabilizing brace Thursday, April 11, and was able to throw. "That's big," manager Joe Girardi said of Granderson. "That means the bone has healed and it's just the rehab process and getting him to where he can play in some games and getting him back here. It's real encouraging."
Fantasy Tip: Granderson appears to be the closest to returning of the trio of injured Yankees stars, including Derek Jeter (ankle) and Mark Teixeira (wrist). There's no telling if his injured forearm will cut into his power numbers upon his return, but he's worth hanging onto to find out.
