Mets | Zack Wheeler has MRI
New York Mets SP Zack Wheeler (finger) is dealing with a blister on his right middle finger, and he isn't expected to miss any time after undergoing an MRI exam. The blister has occurred annually for Wheeler, and it has affected his offspeed offerings with pitching for Triple-A Las Vegas. He's 0-1 with a 3.12 ERA and has allowed 11 hits while walking six in 8 2/3 innings over two starts.
Fantasy Tip: The Mets are being cautious not to bring up Wheeler to the bigs before he's ready this season. He'll be on a similar timetable to what Matt Harvey was on last season, and with the lack of depth in the team's starting rotation, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him this summer.
