Reds | Considered summoning Tony Cingrani

Cincinnati Reds prospect SP Tony Cingrani was an option for a promotion with RP Sean Marshall (shoulder) heading to the disabled list, but the club decided to keep him in his rotation spot for Triple-A Louisville last night. "He's our first call-up if one of our starters goes down," Reds manager Dusty Baker said. "He still has to work on his breaking ball. ... It's just that we didn't want to impede his progress as a starter."

Fantasy Tip: Cincy has taken notice of Cingrani's hot start (21 K, 2 BB in 12 1/3 Class AAA innings this year). NL-only players should already have stashed the southpaw, and deep dual-universe competitors must at least add him to their watch lists.
