Phillies | Roy Halladay labors again

Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay lost to the New York Mets for the first time since 2001 as he labored through their lineup for four-plus ineffective innings Monday, April 8, for his second loss of the season. He gave up seven runs and six hits (one three-run homer) while walking three. Halladay once again struggled to get ahead of hitters in the game.

Fantasy Tip: It's no secret now that Halladay is a different pitcher. He lacks the velocity and command of his cutter to effectively challenge hitters when he's behind in the count. Being the competitor and perfectionist that he is, it's conceivable that he can turn this thing around and succeed, but it could take some time. For now, it'd be wise to bench him until we see more favorable results.
