Buccaneers | Growing impatient in Darrelle Revis talks
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are growing impatient with trade talks for New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis. Revis' agents recently asked Jets general manager John Idzik if Revis could be excused from the first two weeks of the team's offseason conditioning program. The two-week period starts April 15 and ends after the NFL draft, by which time Revis had been expected to be traded. He's hoping to avoid the media circus. The Buccaneers are willing to trade a combination of a first-, third- and sixth-round picks for Revis, and they are also willing to pay him in the area of $15-16 million per year on a long-term contract.
