Nationals | Bryce Harper update
Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper (thumb) has swelling in his left thumb that's alarming enough to have trainers look at it Tuesday, March 26. Harper may need a cortisone shot, but manager Davey Johnson expects Harper to play in at least one more spring game before opening day. Harper has been using a foam pad around his thumb during batting practice. He's gone 9-for-9 since hurting his thumb last Friday, however, and he went 2-for-2 with two singles Tuesday.
Fantasy Tip: This is worth watching, but if he was playing in a spring game today, it doesn't seem all that serious.
