Mets | Shaun Marcum has shoulder impingement
New York Mets SP Shaun Marcum (shoulder) is heading back to New York due to a right shoulder impingement. He received a cortisone shot Wednesday, March 20, and he'll refrain from throwing for a few days.
Fantasy Tip: This is a tough break for Marcum. He's had shoulder problems in the past, but he dealt with elbow issues last year. Check back for more info on his diagnosis, but this doesn't bode well for him starting the season on time. Aaron Laffey could squeak his way into the rotation as a result.
