Nationals | Wilson Ramos pushing for starting job
Washington Nationals C Wilson Ramos (knee) has proven that his knee is fully healthy this spring, and he may be pushing C Kurt Suzuki for the starting job behind the plate to open the season. Manager Davey Johnson hasn't said how he plans to utilize the pair of catchers, though. Ramos is 8-for-18 (.444) in spring training. Johnson plans to let Ramos go nine innings in a game sometime this week.
Fantasy Tip: Ramos clearly has more offensive upside than Suzuki, but Ramos won't just be handed the starting job back. If Ramos proves he's healthy over the early portion of the season and hits, though, it'll be hard for Suzuki to hold him off as far as the majority of PT goes.
