There are some lingering concerns about Atlanta Braves 3B Juan Francisco and his inability to consistently hit offspeed pitches and left-handed pitchers. However, he has homered in three of his past four spring games, strengthening his bid for the starting third base job to start the season. However, manager Fredi Gonzalez said Monday, March 18, that it is still too early to declare a winner in the battle with 3B Chris D. Johnson.
