Indians | Chris Perez update

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Indians RP Chris Perez (shoulder) threw a full 35-pitch bullpen session Monday, March 18, in which he threw fastballs, sliders and changeups. He said he's around three or four days ahead of his initial throwing schedule, and he's hoping to face hitters in a batting practice session by this weekend.

Fantasy Tip: As things look now, expect Perez to be ready to close on opening day. Vinnie Pestano, the eighth-inning setup man, should still be owned in all leagues as a handcuff to Perez and for his useful peripherals.
