Dodgers | Zack Greinke will be pushed back
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke (elbow) felt fine after throwing Sunday, March 17, but he's expected to have his first regular season start pushed back by at least a few days and possibly longer. Greinke has thrown in just two spring games for a total of five innings. He's scheduled to throw again Wednesday, March 20, possibly in a simulated game against minor leaguers. Greinke could pitch March 25 in a spring game, which would put him on track to make his season debut April 5.
Fantasy Tip: This is good news, but if Greinke were to suffer another setback, he'll almost certainly open the season on the disabled list. The Dodgers have plenty of starting pitching depth this year, so they'll continue to be cautious with their prized free-agent offseason acquisition.
