Mets | David Wright has injection
New York Mets 3B David Wright (intercostal) received a cortisone injection Friday, March 15, and he said he's still having pain when he sleeps, but the discomfort isn't as bad. He thinks he won't need as many at-bats to be ready for the regular season after playing in the World Baseball Classic.
Fantasy Tip: Wright has time to ramp back up into game action, but time is running out and it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed opening day. Justin Turner (ankle) is also dinged up, and he's the favorite to replace Wright at the hot corner if he isn't ready for the start of the season.
