Cubs | Albert Almora to miss time

Chicago Cubs OF Albert Almora (hand) broke the hamate bone in his left hand during a swing Thursday, March 14, and he is expected to be sidelined until mid-May. The injury was not believed to be serious, and Cubs officials said Friday, March 15, that Almora will have the bone removed. He is expected to resume baseball activities in three to four weeks.
