Padres | Carlos Quentin optimistic

San Diego Padres OF Carlos Quentin (knee) has yet to appear in a spring game after aggravating his surgically repaired right knee earlier this week, but manager Bud Black said he is OK. "I'm doing all right, working through some stuff," Quentin said. "I feel like I'm getting closer. I'm looking forward to that." Black doesn't think Quentin is in danger of missing opening day.

Fantasy Tip: This doesn't give Quentin a ringing endorsement, and he remains a risky fantasy baseball pick. He is a burden to your team batting average and you have to wonder if injuries will continue to be a problem and hinder his power production over the course of the season.
