Yankees | Derek Jeter pleased with progress
New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter (ankle) was pleased with his progress and how he felt after playing the field for the first time Wednesday, March 13. "There's normal soreness. That's expected," Jeter said. "You have to play through it because I haven't been doing things for quite some time, so there's soreness there. As long as the bone is healed, the soreness you can work through." Manager Joe Girardi said he plans to have Jeter play in back-to-back games soon.
