Rangers | Matt Harrison fine
Texas Rangers SP Matt Harrison (toe) has recovered from a toe issue that cropped up over the weekend, and he will start in a B game Tuesday, March 12. He threw a 45-pitch bullpen session Sunday, March 11, and didn't have any problems. Harrison also took part in pain-free pitchers' fielding practice. He canceled his trip to Texas to be examined as a result. Harrison had a cortisone shot in his toe last week and the shot didn't work. He's still scheduled to throw four or five innings Tuesday, and he'll test a new orthotic in his shoe with a slightly raised sole in the front of his foot.
