Padres | Cory Luebke not throwing
San Diego Padres SP Cory Luebke (elbow) is recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he is not currently throwing. He was throwing until two weeks ago when he felt pain in his right elbow. The team immediately shut him down, although reports from two leading physicians were positive. It will be another week or more before Luebke resumes his throwing program.
Fantasy Tip: Luebke is preparing for a return somewhere around mid-June or the All-Star break. At this point, there is no sense in drafting him unless you're in a very deeper NL-only fantasy league with ample roster space.
