Yankees | Derek Jeter singles in return to action Saturday

New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter (ankle) went 1-for-2 with a single in his first exhibition game of the spring Saturday, March 9, against the Atlanta Braves. He served as the designated hitter and is expected to DH in at least one more game before seeing any time in the field. Jeter still has not run the bases at full speed but said he typically doesn't do that until later in the spring.
