Nationals | Bill Bray working to improve mechanics
Washington Nationals RP Bill Bray was sent to minor league camp to work on fixing his mechanics in a less stressful environment. If he is not called up to the parent club by June, he is allowed to opt out of his contract. Bray is throwing in the low 90s but he is working with pitching coach Steve McCatty to rid himself of bad habits that resulted from battling a groin injury during most of last season. He had always thrown from a high three-quarters arm slot but has been throwing recently with his arm above his head.
