Tigers | Bruce Rondon making adjustments

Detroit Tigers RP Bruce Rondon and pitching coach Jeff Jones were working on a mechanical tweak Wednesday, March 6, in hopes of re-gaining the command that helped Rondon last summer. Manager Jim Leyland said Rondon is not out of consideration for the closer role, but he also said Rondon had never been named the closer to begin with. "I think the best way to put it is, I think this kid is potentially a fantastic closing prospect," Leyland said Wednesday, March 6. "Is he ready for that? I can't answer that."
