Ravens | Dennis Pitta expected to get second-round tender

Baltimore Ravens impending restricted free-agent TE Dennis Pitta is expected to receive a second-round tender from the team. That could prompt an offer sheet from an opposing team, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun. If the Ravens were to pay another $856,000, they would eliminate any risk of an offer sheet by assigning a first-round tender to Pitta. The Ravens are in a bad salary cap situation, though, and may have to take a chance with the second-round tender.
