New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (wrist) has been diagnosed with a strained right wrist, and he'll miss eight to 10 weeks.
Fantasy Tip: Already devalued in many fantasy circles because of batting-average concerns, this knocks Teixeira to mixed corner-infield draft territory. Of course, at a certain point in any format, the cost of a 2012-like Teixeira line will look attractive. New York's likely internal solution places Kevin Youkilis at first, with glove-challenged but offensively intriguing Eduardo Nunez lining up for third. Juan Rivera could see an at-bats boost in the long term, as well.
