Mets | Johan Santana expected to begin on DL

The New York Mets expect SP Johan Santana (shoulder) to begin the season on the disabled list.

Fantasy Tip: The team was irked that he began an aggressive offseason throwing program so soon. Jeremy Hefner is expected to begin the season in the rotation. Santana continues to be a risky option on draft day and holds little upside at this point. Hefner is an NL-only option at best.
