Falcons | Roster cuts had Matt Ryan in mind?

The Atlanta Falcons' decision to release RB Michael Turner, DE John Abraham and CB Dunta Robinson could have been made, in part, with QB Matt Ryan's next contract in mind. Ryan is scheduled to head into the final season of his contract in 2013, and the team wants to sign him to a long-term deal this offseason. Ryan will likely cost $15 million to $20 million a season.
