Phillies | Roy Halladay showing promise
Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay made his second Grapefruit League spring start Friday, March 1, against the New York Yankees and allowed just one run and three hits with a walk while striking out three over 2 1/3 innings. He threw 26 of his 44 pitches for strikes. While manager Charlie Manuel wouldn't quite say Halladay is back to normal, he said Halladay is making progress. "He's definitely getting there," Manuel said. Halladay added that his cutter has "a little ways to go," and he is still trying to get an early feel for his curveball.
