Packers | Mike McCarthy defends team's toughness
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy does not agree with critics who feel his team has grown soft over the last couple of seasons. "To me, we're a physical, tough football team," McCarthy said. "I totally disagree. I don't know how you can put the tape on and say the Green Bay Packers aren't physical." McCarthy added the team plays the same way it did during their Super Bowl campaign. "How do we play any different from the approach, the identity today that we did in 2010?" McCarthy said. "How do you swing that far? You don't go from here to here." The Packers are a passing team that struggles to run against base defenses. On defense, they have ranked 26th each of the past two seasons in average yards allowed per rush.
