Colorado Rockies SP Miguel Batista is in camp as a non-roster invitee trying to make the roster. "The guy's been in the World Series. He's pitched in a lot of different games in a lot of different roles. There's certainly a niche for a guy like him. There's a lot of competition in that niche, but that's why we brought him in," manager Walt Weiss said Friday, Feb. 22.
