Dodgers | Matt Kemp won't play in spring opener

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp (shoulder) will not play in the Cactus League spring opener against the Chicago White Sox Saturday, Feb. 23. Manager Don Mattingly said Friday, Feb. 22, that he doesn't expect Kemp to play in Cactus League games until early March, even though he is working out with no restrictions. "I really want to play Matt when he's ready to play," Mattingly said.
