Blue Jays | Roof likely to stay closed when R.A. Dickey starts
Look for the Toronto Blue Jays to keep their retractable roof closed on days when SP R.A. Dickey is on the mound. The wind at Dickey's back can occasionally work to his advantage when throwing the knuckleball, but it usually flattens the pitch's trajectory. A wind blowing out frequently is good. "When it's at his back, sometimes he'll get a lot of balls that just push to home plate. The ball can straighten out. We've had some good games with the wind at his back, but the best games I've seen have been either in the controlled environment or with the wind in his face," C Josh Thole said.
