Rangers | Lance Berkman, Adrian Beltre unlikely to play in spring opener
Texas Rangers DH Lance Berkman (calf, knee) isn't expected to suit up and play in the team's Cactus League opener Friday, Feb. 22, due to a strained right calf muscle. 3B Adrian Beltre (calf) remains day-to-day with the same injury and isn't expected to play in the opener, either. Berkman is also recovering from surgery on his right knee and didn't take part in an intrasquad game Wednesday, Feb. 20.
