Mets | Team had expressed interest in Mike Pelfrey

Minnesota Twins SP Mike Pelfrey said the New York Mets had expressed interest in bringing him back on a lesser deal but wanted to have the flexibility to use him as a reliever. Pelfrey was only interested in remaining a starter.
