Cowboys | Brandon Carr feels he will thrive in new scheme

Dallas Cowboys CB Brandon Carr said he is excited about new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin's scheme. Carr will be asked to play a lot more zone coverage than he did under former defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, something Carr says is necessary with the current league rules allowing little contact with wide receivers. "In years past you could go up and challenge the guys and be aggressive and beat them up all the way down the field," Carr said. "But now the game has changed so much that if you even look at them sometimes, they're throwing the flag."
