Cardinals | Carlos Beltran to pace himself

St. Louis Cardinals OF Carlos Beltran (hand, forearm, knee), who was hampered by hand, forearm and knee injuries in 2012, will have his health watched closely by manager Mike Matheny in the spring. Matheny said he will be more active in resting his veteran players in order to decrease the chances that they break down later in the season.
