Mariners | Mike Zunino fitting in

Seattle Mariners C Mike Zunino is trying to soak things in as quickly as possible in his first Major League camp, and he has fit in well in the opening days of spring training. "It's a blast. There's a bunch of great guys here. We've been doing everything to get back into shape, and I've been having a great time," Zunino said. "I spend a lot of time with the catchers and (catching coordinator Jeff Datz) and all those guys. I'm just having fun with them and getting to know the pitchers. It's been great."

Fantasy Tip: Zunino is one of the top prospects in baseball, and he has showed off tremendous power during early batting practice sessions. However, with Cs Jesus Montero and Kelly Shoppach ahead of him on the depth chart, it likely will take an injury to get Zunino to break camp with the big club. Still, he is a must-have in long-term keeper formats, and worth stashing away with a late-round pick in deeper AL-only leagues.
