Nationals | Ryan Perry changes approach
Washington Nationals SP Ryan Perry, who was strictly a power pitcher with the Detroit Tigers, threw only sinkers, sliders and cutters during his bullpen Friday, Feb. 15, as he pounded the bottom half of the strike zone. Perry is focused on keeping the ball down and becoming a ground-ball pitcher as he transitions to a starting pitcher. He has a solid chance to win a spot for pitching depth, but he'll likely start at Triple-A Syracuse.
