White Sox | More on John Danks

Updating previous reports, Chicago White Sox SP John Danks (shoulder) threw all of his pitches pain-free during a bullpen session Thursday, Feb. 14. Tyler Flowers said it's the best he's seen Danks' curveball but his velocity, as expected, wasn't up to par. "At this point, I'm just trying to get back to where I'm completely healthy," Danks said. "I felt good and the next step will be to start worrying about pitches. But right now it's still proving to everybody that I'm 100 percent healthy." Because of his injury last year, Danks admits he basically had to start all over to learn his post-injury pitching mechanics. His first spring start is scheduled for March 4.
