Nationals | Preferred Gio Gonzalez not pitch in WBC
Washington Nationals pitching coach Steve McCatty would have preferred for SP Gio Gonzalez to skip the chance to pitch for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic. "We're still juggling how we're going to do things, because we don't know the schedule they're trying to get him on, because their games are going to start pretty soon, too," McCatty added. "You try to get him in a spot where they see him fitting in their rotation. When we get done it'll probably look a little different than normal, because we're going to have to juggle some stuff around."
