Jets | Could target defense with first round pick

The New York Jets have selected a defensive player with their last three first round picks, and could draft a defensive player again this season, according to Mel Kiper. "I still think the front seven on the defensive side is the way to go," Kiper said. Even though the Jets offense needs help, there are not many offensive players worthy of that high a pick, according to Kiper.
