Angels | Albert Pujols in good health

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1B Albert Pujols (knee) said his right knee is in good health, but he plans on pacing himself this spring. Pujols won't be playing in spring training games when they start Feb. 23, and he won't get into action until March 1, like most of the regulars. "He looks great," manager Mike Scioscia said of Pujols. "He looks like he's in great shape. Naturally, we're going to try to pace him in with the offseason knee surgery, but we don't anticipate it being any problem. We have a lot more time this year, which we'll make sure we make good use of."
