Twins | Scott Diamond throws

Minnesota Twins SP Scott Diamond (elbow) threw from 120 feet for the second straight day Tuesday, Feb. 12, and plans to do another session Wednesday, Feb. 13, before moving to 150 feet Friday, Feb. 15. Diamond is expecting to throw off a mound for the first time next week, but he's unsure if he'll be ready in time for opening day. He will be unable to pitch for Canada in the World Baseball Classic as a result.
