Mets | Johan Santana unlikely to pitch in WBC

New York Mets sources said that they doubt that SP Johan Santana will pitch for Team Venezuela in the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Santana said he won't play in the tournament if the team prefers he sit it out. Also, the Classic committee would have to agree to insure the $31 million he is owed this year since he finished last year on the disabled list.
