Vikings | Percy Harvin expected to hold out

Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin is expected to sit out offseason workouts and training camp if he does not get a new contract this offseason. He is scheduled to make $2.9 million next season but it is not known what he would be looking for in a new contract.

Fantasy Tip: This is a story to monitor this offseason because there are several scenarios that could occur. Harvin could sign an extension with the Vikings, be traded to another team or hold out possibly into the regular season if he does not get a new deal. Harvin should be viewed as a No. 2 wide receiver entering next season with the talent to be a No. 1 WR, but his value would suffer heavy damage if a holdout continues into the regular season.
