Pirates | More on Francisco Liriano's injury
Pittsburgh Pirates SP Francisco Liriano (arm), who will miss at least a month before he can return to a mound this spring, said he broke his right, non-throwing arm knocking on a door on Christmas day trying to scare his kids. Liriano fractured the humerus bone in his upper arm, and his cast is already off. He's played light toss a few times and is sporting a brace when he worked out Monday, Feb. 11.
