Colorado Rockies new manager Walt Weiss watched SS Troy Tulowitzki (groin) work out in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and Weiss was impressed with what he saw. "I wanted to check with him and I thought it was important that it was face to face. Doogie and I put some eyes on him," Weiss said. "He looked 100 percent. Watching him, I would have never known he was hurt." Tulowitzki has been taking grounders and hitting for several weeks, and he also ran the bases with Weiss watching.
