Yankees | No plans for Alex Rodriguez to retire
New York Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez (hip) said he has no plans to retire following allegations that he was tied to an anti-aging clinic in Miami that is suspected of supplying human growth hormone and other performance-enhancing drugs to athletes. "Alex says he's working diligently on his rehabilitation and is looking forward to getting back on the field as soon as possible," a source said. It was reported earlier this week that the Yanks will explore multiple avenues to void Rodriguez's contract.
