Vikings | Jared Allen might be asked to restructure

Minnesota Vikings DE Jared Allen (shoulder) has a team-high cap number of $17 million on the last year of his deal in 2013. While he told friends he felt worn down toward the end of last season, and he will have offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, he intends to be back. He figures to hear from the team about restructuring, but it remains to be seen how much new money they're willing to commit to a player who may be entering decline.
