Braves | Brandon Beachy feeling good
Atlanta Braves SP Brandon Beachy (elbow) is feeling great, and his elbow hasn't had any setbacks during a throwing program as he rehabs from Tommy John surgery last season. Beachy is hoping he'll be ready to return to action in late June. He expects to increase the distance of a long toss program from 120 feet to 150 feet within the next week, and the next step should be him simulating his pitching motion while throwing off flat ground. Beachy could be cleared to start throwing off a mound with a controlled motion in late February or early March, if he doesn't have any setbacks.
